Meet the Founder

Elizabeth eli

Pay It Fwd was founded on a simple belief: strong communities are built when people support one another.

Growing up, Elizabeth (Liz) witnessed the power of community firsthand. In her neighbourhood, it wasn’t uncommon for neighbours to share meals, lend a helping hand, and look out for one another during difficult times. Despite the challenges the community faced, including crime and social hardship, there was a strong sense of connection and belonging.

Liz remembers how her family would often open their doors to neighbours, bringing people together and creating an environment where everyone felt welcome. Through these experiences, she saw how genuine acts of kindness and community spirit could positively influence the lives of those around them.

These early lessons became the foundation of Pay It Fwd.

Today, Liz is committed to creating opportunities for people to connect, support one another, and strengthen their communities. Through mentoring, community engagement, outreach programs, and partnerships, Pay It Fwd aims to foster a culture where people are encouraged to give back, uplift others, and create positive change.

Her vision is simple: to build stronger communities by inspiring people to pay forward the kindness, support, and opportunities they have received throughout their own lives.
